Dr. Troy Rohn has built a substantial academic reputation with over 28 years of experience in neuroscience research and teaching. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 1994 and completed postdoctoral training at INSERM (Paris), Montana State University, and UC Irvine’s Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders. He has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications, placing him among the top 0.5% of scholars globally in his field for his contributions to Alzheimer’s research and neurological disorders. He’s currently a professor at Boise State University and Co-founder/Director of Preclinical Studies at Cognigenics.
Among the 80 peer-reviewed publications that Dr. Rohn has authored, many address topics related to neurobiology, mental health, and treatment strategies, making him a credible voice in the scientific community. More recently, he has written an article for The Academic entitled “Embracing a new era in medicine through gene therapy.”
In his new book ‘Brain Medicine,’ Dr. Rohn has a gift for explaining complex scientific topics in an interesting and understandable way.
